Research applications

We have established assays for research  exploiting animal models as well as other  special purpose assays.

More specifically, we have developed i) assays for mouse hepcidin peptides in serum/plasma (Hep-1, Hep-2) and urine (Hep-2); ii)  for rat hepcidin-25 in urine; and  iii) for dog, cynomolgus monkey, pig and bovine serum/plasma hepcidin-25. Our flexible WCX-TOF MS approach also allows hepcidin measurements in other human body fluids and growth medium from in vitro cultured human cell lines.
